Packexe wrapped Concorde
Packexe have been in national press following completion of a project with Aerospace Bristol which involved wrapping Concorde.
In March, we were approached by Aerospace Bristol to wrap the last Concorde 216, to protect it from the building of the museums hangar, the works included spraying fire protection paint on the walls of its hangar with Concorde in situ.
Concorde was wrapped in Packexe® Fleece, Packexe® Hardfloor and Packexe® Carpet, three products from the self-adhesive protection film range, which have specially formulated adhesives to ensure secure application and easy removal from surfaces.
In April, Concorde 216 was unwrapped and damage free in the new museum at Filton Airfield ready for the launch of the Aerospace Bristol in the summer. Packexe was able to create a safe and effective barrier for Concorde 216 against building work that took place around it. Following completion of the building works, all that was left to be done was to peel away the Packexe films and dispose, there was no cleaning required.
The project took 2.5 days to wrap and 1 day to unwrap.
