Centre stage at Secours Expo in Paris
Packexe joins Renault and Holmatro for three days of live extrication demonstrations for the emergency services community at the industry key-note event in Paris.
Secours Expo is the annual summit for the heroes of the rescue services in France. The event is visited by all types of professions such as doctors, nurses, firefighters and rescue workers.
Organised by medical care professionals, the show aims to provide a comprehensive overview of medical care and emergency rescue. The patient is the focus of the event and the goal is to join the rescue community together to communicate, inform, discover and share their experiences.
Car manufacturer Renault have been industry leaders for R&D focused around making their vehicles safer for access and extrication. To demonstrate this, they are conducting vehicle extrication procedures live at Secours Expo with the help of the Yvelines Fire and Rescue Department (SDIS76). Also featured in the demonstration is Holmatro cutting equipment and the Packexe Smash glass management system.
Packexe is very happy to be working with Renault at the event, as the demonstrations are utilising the best in class products for rescue scenarios and unite companies who put the safety of the casualty at the forefront of their product development.
Andrew Orchard, the CEO of Packexe is attending Secours Expo to demonstrate Packexe SMASH and Sharpswrap. At the event he commented; “This exhibition is world leading for knowledge sharing and best practice in the rescue community. To be invited to exhibit with Renault on their extrication stand recognises that Packexe SMASH is now the essential tool for time critical glass management procedures. Working alongside our industry peers Renault and Holmatro, we have been able to demonstrate the effectiveness of Packexe SMASH to a huge audience of rescue workers and we look forward to visiting them in future to provide hands-on training with the Packexe Rescue products.”
The recognition for Packexe SMASH and Sharpswrap in the rescue community stretches around the globe, with fire services in over 40 countries now carrying the product as standard kit. The Packexe team are looking forward to the forthcoming programme of national rescue organisation events, where we can celebrate the excellent work carried about by the skilled Fire and Rescue crews around the world.
